One person may submit only one abstract. By submitting an abstract, you agree to present it at the conference.
Authors should specify whether they wish to present an oral communication or a poster. The final choice of presentation type will be determined by the JCO 2025 Scientific Committee. Selected candidates for posters and oral communications will be notified by the JCO 2025 Secretariat.
Once submitted, an abstract cannot be modified directly via the submission webpage. Once your abstract has been submitted, any change (title, type, etc.) must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat: secretariat-jco@agencepulsarevents.com
Abstracts may not be modified after acceptance by the Scientific Committee.
Type of abstract
When registering and submitting in your submission area, you will be asked to select a category. JCO 2025 offers the following categories:
Oral communication
If your OC is not chosen, you will not present your work.
Oral communication or poster
You prefer to present your work as an oral communication; however, if it is not accepted, it will automatically be converted into a poster.
Oral communication and poster
You wish to present your work with both formats. If your OC is not chosen, you will present the poster anyway.
Poster
You wish to present your work in poster format only.
Presentation guidelines
Poster sessions
Two poster sessions will be organized.
You will be assigned a panel number. Authors are asked to stand close to their poster throughout the session, so as to be available for questions.
Each panel will measure 100 cm wide by 240 cm high (portrait orientation). Your poster should ideally be printed on A0 format (height 118.9 x width 84.1 cm).
A fastening system will be provided (Velcro pads). Please ensure that your poster is not too heavy.
If you present your poster in Session 1, be sure to take it down quickly at the end of Session 1, to allow people presenting in Session 2 to hang their posters.
Please respect scrupulously your session number.
Oral communications session
Oral communications are limited to 10 STRICT minutes for presentation, and up to 2 minutes for questions.
The Oral Communication Sessions will be organized concurrently in three different amphitheatres.
You must arrive 15 min before your session starts.
You will not be able to use your personal computer. You will be using an available computer. PPT or PDF files will be accepted. In case you are using a PPT file, please prepare also a PDF file as a backup. The slide size can be 16/9.
These laptops will also be available in the main hall (at the registration desk) every morning before each OC session to upload.
The official language of the congress is English. All oral presentations must be given in English.
